Late at night, during a rainy winter,  between dreams and reality, riding down a San Franciscan-like street with a crowd of shades, only identified by the same T-shirt they were wearing : a black T-shirt with a red « Kindred » writing.

That’s where Kindred comes from.

Kindred was born from the encounter of three skaters wishing to develop clothes that were more in tune with their conception of skateboarding.

While it takes the common signification of Family in English, the word Kindred means « Home » or « Hearth » In Old Norse.

Kindred’s values are based on the principle that every skateboarder is part of a great Family whose Home is the urban environment.

As a skateboard-rooted/rider-owned company, Kindred naturally embraces Actions Sports, Arts and Music as its natural (counter) cultural environment.

Continually innovating however maintaining its sobriety Kindred cultivates the Paradox.

Kindred is the mark of a spirit constantly prone to Evolution, an agent of the Paradox!
